Drawing my World Cup life

Drawing my World Cup life

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been watching the third World Cup match (kick off at 2am local time) two night’s in a row as I have had a headache all day today.  I desperately needed something relaxing to relieve my headache and suddenly remembered I bought this drawing book a few months ago. I’m a total idiot when it comes to drawing and this book is great as it shows you how to draw different items in a simple three step process.

THE SOFA

My first item I drew was a sofa because that’s where I’ve been lazing around at home most of the time these few days. Of course, my own sofa isn’t as nice as this one, and my drawing makes it look so ugly!!

THE WELLIES

It’s been raining quite heavily these few days, so I thought I should draw something about the weather.  Each item has three variation, from simple to complicated and originally I wanted to draw the pair of wellies in the middle. Then I thought the last pair looked a lot nicer so switched mid way, and ended with …. not sure what they are.

THE LIVING ROOM

I added more items to my drawing and here you can see a snapshot of my living room.  I have a ceiling light and a lamp which was quite easy to draw and I am quite please with them.  Of course my living has  a TV which just showed England scoring the winning goal against Tunisia, and it’s nearly 4am.  Those who know me, will know that I lover rubber duckies, so of course I need to  draw that as well.

THE COMPLETED DRAWING

When I started to draw the sofa, I was just going to do random things from the book.  Then I thought why not see if I can drawing my living room from last night.

So finally I ended up with the brolly and welly from the rainy day, my sofa surrounded by snacks while I’m watching football (popcorn, donought and coffee in case you can’t tell), a football of course, my buddy the rubber ducky,  and the rest of my living room at nearly 4 o’clock in the morning with the sleepy moon outside.
