再見歐盟 Good bye EU

有結果了，英國將退出歐盟。

今早我一直在追看BBC直播新聞,期望會有好消息。隨著時間一秒秒過去，我的希望逐漸破滅，並要開始接受現實。嚴格來說公投該是公民對某一論點作出意見表決，而對國會並没有約束力。然而英國政府早已明確指出，無論結果如何，它們也會尊重決定。

雖然這不是我想看到的結果但這是事實. 我選擇活在一個民主社會制度,就要接受它的遊戲規則.

 

Well, its been decided at last, UK will leave the European Union.

This morning I have been following the BBC live news religiously in the hope of some good news.  Sadly as the hours went by, my hopes were gradually dashed and the reality set in. The referendum is strictly speaking a vote for an opinion on a particular issue and it is not binding on the UK Parliament.  However, it has been stated clearly by the government, they will abide by the outcome, whatever it may be.

As much as I dislike the outcome, I also accept the fact that I live in a democratic society so must play by its rules.
